Information - there’s so much of it these days…
...it's delivered to us on an industrial scale. Our wondrous brains are expected to process mountains of the stuff on a daily basis.
These over-stretched cerebrums can't possibly keep up, surely they’re not designed to.
If only there was a way to filter this information, reframe it and make it more accessible, in real time.
Luckily, Graphic Recording, or Scribing exists. Scribing boils the info. down to manageable, witty, visual nuggets.

HOW DO YOU LISTEN AND DRAW AT THE SAME TIME?
Well, it’s tricky to explain
The best answer is that during a session, part of me exists in three places at once - absorbing what's being said right now, making sense of what was just said, and quietly anticipating where things might be going next.
I suppose it's a bit like jazz - you're playing in the moment, but your ear is always slightly ahead of your hands. The slides, the data, the pre-prepared material - that stuff will always exist. But what actually gets said in the room, the unscripted moments, the unexpected answers, the ideas that nobody saw coming? That disappears the moment the session ends. Unless someone's there to catch it.
